IDA RUD

Ida Rud has a PhD degree in biotechnology and molecular microbiology from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, Ås, Norway. She has been a research scientist at Nofima, the Norwegian Institute of Food, Fisheries and Aquaculture Research, since 2009, with expertise in molecular microbiology, microbiota analysis, bioinformatics, probiotics, dietary fibre, fermentation, human and animal gut health and in vitro/in vivo studies. Her research has resulted in 31 peer-reviewed publications. She is currently leader of a national research project “GutFeedingNow” that emphasis on Norwegian sustainable dietary fibre and proteins sources for a healthy gut microbiota.
